I am available as a freelance consultant and as a forest school leader to help set up and run forest schools. I can also facilitate different types of workshops usually in art or environmental development. I run workshops in biodiversity, gardening, felting and in mural work. I am happy to deliver any of these workshops anywhere in Scotland.

I work freelance but have been involved with a variety of national organisations and charities and have done so either as a consultant or as a practitioner. These include;
                                               The National Museums of Scotland
The FEI in Edinburgh and East lothian
Creative Partnerships
Grounds for learning
eco fusion,Edinburgh(BTCV)
Schools in East Lothian, Midlothian, West Lothian and Edinburgh
The Children and Family service team at the Edinburgh council
East Lothian's Art Service
Edinburgh World Heritage
The Mela in Edinburgh
Womad and Traquaire Fair
SNH Lothian
Stepping out
North light in Dunbar
Eden Festival
The Big tent, Falkland

I also have the training, qualifications and experience to lead workshops on a variety of outdoor activities such as :
Mural work
How to grow fruit and vegetables
Forest School
Craft work
Felt making courses
Live willow weaving in school grounds to make tunnels and domes
Biodiversity workshops
Making ponds

I have helped people, young and old, transform derelict pieces of land into productive gardens and community spaces and have taken part in projects ranging from the esoteric - such as puppet making, creating masks, stage prop planning or building mosaic works of art - to the more traditional ones of felt making, garden design, biodiversity and willow work. They have all proved both satisfying and worthwhile

Generally my aims have always been to promote the benefits of outdoor environmental education hence my keen involvement with forest schools and in working with ordinary people in order to empower them to appreciate and improve their immediate environment.
